Dear Marie A.K.A. Santa Marie, Way too cute! Thanks for sharing! Brooke has not made it in to help you in time both days. She was shooting for when you get back from lunch (after she gets some school work done) both days and discovered you had the afternoon sub. She wanted you to know she has not flaked just hasn't had the right game plan. She has a field trip today so she will go in on Friday early so she can be of help. She and I just wanted you to know we are BOTH thinking of you! Lots of Love, Laurie & Brooke
To all of the wonderful folks who have left such inspiring and friendly messages, as you read on, remember that Rie asked us to treat her "normally". On that note, I have a couple of thoughts:
1. I feel really cheated right now, b/c I don't have sound on my office computer 2. Don't plan on bearded lady as your next career, Rie. Not your best look. Be an elf...you've got the cute face for it : ) 3. Yes, you have waaaay too much time on your hands, my friend, but BE GOOD!! You can be superwoman in 2009. For now, take the cues your body's giving you. 4. I soooo hope you get your drain out Tuesday. It's a pain, but it's doing an important job, so suck it up a little longer. 5. We absolutely want to see you Sunday, but only if you're really up to it. If you don't make it, I will bring you cookies. 6. The day Owen bakes me ANYTHING, the proverbial monkeys will fly out of you know where. Can I like borrow your boys, just for a day, or do you think that would permanently corrupt them?
OK, seriously, I'm rejoicing in your good news, and can't wait to pass it on to Darlene and Mom). I had forgotten to tell them about the blog (bad girl). Good or bad news, you know I'd want to hear it and love you bunches, but it's soooooooo wonderful to hear good : )

I played it with the sound down and you looked like a barking Santa at the end! Too weird.

Until we hug in person,

Yes, perhaps a bit too much time, but I am glad you rested! You make a great Santa Claus, have you considered moonlighting?
